Why calendars matter
College recruiting rules limit when and how coaches may contact athletes. The limits differ by sport, division, and year.

- Check the official NCAA or NAIA calendar for your sport before outreach.
- Log every contact with date and method.
- Ask your compliance office when unsure.
Not compliance advice. This is a general overview. Always rely on official sources and your institution’s compliance staff.
